What is Coronavirus?

Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds.
Doctors associate them with common cold, bronchitis, pneumonia and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).
Coronavirus (COVID-19) was first reported in December 2019 in Wuhan City, China.

How does the Coronavirus spread?

  • There are evidences that the virus spreads from person to person.
  • People infected with the coronavirus spread viral particles through coughing and sneezing.
  • The virus can be spreaded when people touch their infected hands on their mouth, nose or eyes.
  • The surface or thing on which the virus has recently been landed can also infect people.
